Refunds
This page is a short summary. The official text is the Refund Policy. If this page and the Refund Policy ever differ, the Refund Policy is the one that counts.
The short version
Section titled “The short version”- The Lifetime Pass is a one-time payment.
- We do not give refunds, except when TimesHero does not work for your family and the fault cannot be fixed.
- In that case, we refund the full amount you paid.
- You can use the free plan for as long as you like before you buy.
When we refund
Section titled “When we refund”If TimesHero does not work on your family’s devices, write to us and tell us what happens. On an error screen, the Copy details button helps. We will try to fix the problem. If we cannot fix it, you get a refund.
When we do not refund
Section titled “When we do not refund”We do not refund when the app works as described on the buying page, for example if you change your mind or your child stops using it. This does not take away any rights you have under Malaysian consumer law.
How to ask
Section titled “How to ask”Write to support@fmbuilt.dev. Write from the email address you used to buy, or include your license key or your Stripe receipt, so we know the request is yours. A refund goes back to the card or account you paid with. Your bank may take several working days to show it.
What a refund means
Section titled “What a refund means”- The Lifetime Pass ends. The key stops working on every device in your family.
- Your children’s progress stays on your devices.
- TimesHero goes back to the free plan: tables 1, 2 and 5, the daily free runs, and no new profiles. Profiles your children already have are kept.
- Your parent phone shows: This pass was refunded, so paid features are locked. Your children’s progress is safe. Buy again any time. A Buy again button is there.
- A child’s tablet shows a kind note: Ask a parent to renew the pass.
If you buy again
Section titled “If you buy again”A new purchase gives you a new license key. Your parent phone moves your linked tablets to the new key by itself. If a tablet stays locked, it has an Enter a new pairing code button. See If something goes wrong.
Payment disputes
Section titled “Payment disputes”You can also dispute a payment with your bank. Please write to us first. While a dispute is open, the pass keeps working. If the dispute ends in your favour, the pass ends just like after a refund.
